Project Introduction
1. The undergraduate research and practical training program is designed specifically for undergraduate students, aiming to promote their early involvement in scientific research under the careful guidance of teachers, deepen academic exploration and skill development through practical project research and learning. As the core platform for promoting research-oriented learning in the college, this project encourages undergraduate students to actively participate in laboratory work and experience the scientific research process firsthand.
2. The project implementation adopts a pre approval management mode, with a time span of 3 to 6 months, covering key stages such as project application, formal approval, and final acceptance. China Academy of Artificial Intelligence will form an expert review panel to rigorously evaluate submitted projects, ensuring that each successfully approved project is equipped with an experienced mentor to provide professional guidance in a one-on-one manner.
3. In terms of funding and resource support, the project adopts a dual track funding model: on the one hand, the college allocates special funds to fully ensure the smooth progress of the project; On the other hand, guiding teachers will provide additional necessary funding subsidies, advanced software and hardware facilities, etc., to create favorable conditions for research work.
4. This scientific research training project adopts a proposition format, encouraging applicants to form a team of 2-3 members based on specific project requirements, prepare an electronic version of the project application form, and submit it to the designated email before July 20, 2024（ [email protected] ）.
Student selection criteria
1. Full time undergraduate students from Wuhan University from 2020 to 2023; The five-year program is suitable for ordinary undergraduate students in the 2019 grade.
2. There is room for improvement in learning, with an average GPA of no less than 3.0 for all courses during the academic year, and all required courses have passed the assessment.
3. Those who have a strong interest in innovation and entrepreneurship practice will be given priority: those who have participated in various subject competitions, innovation and entrepreneurship training projects, entrepreneurship competitions and other innovation and entrepreneurship practice experiences, and have achieved excellent results; Having outstanding professional expertise; Patented inventions; There are entrepreneurial projects, etc.
